As we get older our faces change showing the signs of aging.
Early changes are noticeable with lowered brows, smaller eyes, the nose to mouth folds and the softened jawline.
Later changes develop hooding over the eyes, the pouches under the eyes, cheek droop, jowl formation and sagging necks.
Now we can reverse time and take skin back to how it looked years earlier!
What is Ultherapy?
The Ulthera System is a non-invasive dermatological aesthetic treatment to lift skin. Using Ultrasound, Ultherapy is the only FDA‐Cleared non‐invasive treatment to lift and tighten loose skin on the brows, neck and under the chin.
How it works?
The ultrasound treats “Below” the skin previously only reached by surgery, without cutting or puncturing the skin.
Sagging skin is mainly due to the changes in the collagen. Using micro‐focused ultrasound, Ultherapy treats all the way down to the muscle. It delivers heat to allow the body to stimulate new collagen. As the new collagen grows, the muscle and skin begin to lift, tighten and tone.
Ultherapy may significantly slow down or delay the signs of aging as well.
How many sessions will I need?
For most patients this is a single treatment with no downtime.
How long does an Ultherapy treatment take?
The length of the treatment will depend on the area being treated and your individual treatment plan. A face and neck procedure typically takes about 60-90 minutes.
Will I need to take time off?
You can resume all normal activities after the treatment: go back to work, go out to dinner, lay in the sun, go to the gym…
Since there is NO downtime, you can continue the rest of your day.
Is it safe?
Because it uses Ultrasound, it is very safe and effective.
Are there any side effects?
The skin might appear flushed at first, but the redness should disappear within a few hours.
When will I see results and how long do they last?
You may see some slight lifting and toning or feel tighter the same day, then as the new collagen is growing you will see and feel more of the changes with the main results present in the 3rd month and beyond.
Actually, the results continue to improve over the next 3‐6 months. It’s a nice natural gradual change.
Since the procedure stimulates your own collagen production, how long the results last really depends on you. The treatment produces new collagen on the inside, but your natural aging process will dictate how long that translates into visible results on the outside.
How much does an Ultherapy procedure cost?
The cost of an Ultherapy treatment can range depending upon the area being treated.Leave a reply
